locr GPS Photo is a free application that helps you add geotagging data to multiple pictures simultaneously.
It can be used to add geographic metadata to photos in two ways: either automatically, using a GPS receiver and your digital camera, or manually, using the Google Maps navigation panel included in the interface of this program. In order to perform manual geotagging you should know the location where those photos were taken and be able to navigate to that location on the displayed map. Then you can add that latitude and longitude to the EXIF data of the selected photos.
I appreciate a lot of things about this tool, including its neat interface or the fact that it previews the loaded photos. It also lets you add GPS tracks or adjust the difference between the time settings of the camera and the time of the computer.
In my opinion, locr GPS Photo is the right solution if you need to add geotagging information to your photos. It’s a nice tool that works as intended and also comes with a neat interface and many handy additional features.
